Go by car, foot, ATV, snowmobile, or cross country skiing. Regardless of the season the whole family will enjoy the beauty of Maine's mountains, lakes, streams, wildlife, and natural scenic areas. You can explore to your heart's content or until you run out of energy. You will find something that will "make your day" each and every day of your visit with us in our beautiful state. With the help of the snowmobile we have been able to open over 30 miles of cross country skiing right from the front door. We have a lot of country and you'd better make sure to bring a camera as there is game in these woods! When finished you return to the heat of a nice wood fire and plenty of hot water for cocoa, coffee, or tea. Bring the mountain bikes and ATV's. Use the trails to see some of the natural scenic areas such as Toby Falls. Fish the streams, go for a dip or just skip stones in the lakes nearby. Sometimes its just as nice to sit back, take a deep breath, and enjoy the beauty of it all.
