We have two primary rooms; the bunkroom sleeps 4 and the upstairs room sleeps up to 7. The meals are served three times a day and are all you can eat. Our beds are twin size and we request that you bring your sleeping bag with you. We have pillows if needed and also towels if you forget yours. Yes, we have hot showers available and Primestar® TV. The lodge is very homelike and relaxing. |

You will settle in very quickly once we show you how the refrigerator door opens (don't ask!) If you go hungry it's your fault. We do ask that you tell us of any medical problems or special diets. I am an Emergency Medical Technician of 25 year and can handle most medical conditions and emergencies. We hope to hear from you soon.

| Our lodge is located on Kingsbury Stream off Rt. 16 just over the Abbott/Parkman town line. If you are coming up the Interstate, take exit 133 (old exit 36) Fairfield/Skowhegan rte. 201. Turn north to Skowhegan (15 miles). At the light in Skowhegan take a right across the bridges staying in the right lane down the main street 300 yards until you see the post office on the left. The road beside it is route 150 to Athens. Athens is 12 miles. Staying on 150, the next town is Harmony, 8 miles away. Once through Harmony, the next town is Cambridge about 5 miles. You know you are in Cambridge because of the sharp turn to the left. Then you pass the fire station at the head end of a small pond and take a right all while still traveling on route 150. Once through Cambridge you are about 5 miles to Parkman. This is the town you need to be at. Coming down a big hill (like entering a valley) you enter Parkman Village. On you left is a church and after that to your right is a store with the name of K.C.'s. This is also a 4-way intersection. Take the road on your left, Crow Hill Road. Travel up this dirt road 2.6 miles to a point where it turns to dirt. Take the sharp right (do not go straight, Trafton Rd.). Travel 1.3 miles, looking for a road sign saying "Pease Bridge Road" on your left. This is your turn, cross the small wood bridge. Cross it. Looking to the left (upstream) you will see the lodge and your home for the next few days. |
"It was more homier
than being at my own place. I finally got to get away from it all and actually
relax for once. Thanks again for the great stay"

Another way is I-95, exit at Newport (DeLorme map 22). Pick up Rt. 11/7 (the Moosehead trail), follow it to Corinna. Stay on Rt. 7 through Dexter, then Dover-Foxcroft. Here follow 15/6/16 into Guilford, (map 31) head for Abbot and turn left onto Rt. 16. 3 miles down this road is your last turn to left. Just before the turn is a sign saying "Herrick Construction", about 200 yards beyond is the turn. Down this road to the bridge (2 miles) is home. Turn around at the bridge and take your 1st driveway (Town Forest Warden sign). | ||
